There is a reason you’ll always see a crowd gathered in front of this shop (and its neighbor!). We arrived to find ourselves 4th in the queue, but the line moved quickly—we were seated in just about 10-15 minutes. The Pho here is top-tier. The broth is fragrant and deep, the meat is tender, and the portion sizes are very generous. However, the real surprise came from the waiter’s recommendation: the Crab Meat & Pork Knuckle Noodle soup. It was an absolute highlight! The broth is packed with rich crab flavor, and the homemade pork knuckle is easily the best I’ve had in Sydney—perfectly prepared and totally outpaces the competition.
Came all the way from the city to try Pho Tau Bay in Cabramatta for the first time, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. ☕️🦀 I had a Vietnamese iced black coffee and the tapioca noodle soup with blue swimmer crab, topped with fried fish-prawn cakes and beef brisket. Everything was incredibly delicious and hit the spot perfectly. The flavours were rich, comforting, and packed with goodness. Definitely worth the trip, and l'll be coming back for more. Highly recommend if you're in Cabramatta and craving authentic Vietnamese food 👊🏻
Such an amazing experience all round. The Rare Beef Pho was more than I was expecting, you don’t even need to add anything to the broth it was that good. But the main thing for me was the hospitality by each and every single staff member there. Thank you for hosting us and being so accomodating with a cheeky toddler. Will be back and definitely spreading the word ! Excuse my photo, couldn’t wait before I started to eat..
Was good that we came here before 11.30 am and no line waiting to be seated. Ordered the Clear Vermicelli Chicken soup instead of the Pho. Enjoyed the dish. Ingredients were fresh and the soup was tasty and not too salty. The black Vietnamese coffee was good to finish off a dish like that. Simple and easy.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I ordered the signature beef pho and found a piece of chicken in it. After one bite, it was obvious the chicken had gone bad — it smelled awful and tasted spoiled. Serving food like this is completely unacceptable. On top of that, there was a senior man (I don’t know if he is the boss) was cold and unwelcoming, which made the whole experience even worse. Paid and left. I won’t be coming back. And I don’t recommend this restaurant.
