Great family-friendly restaurant suitable for causal weekday meals and big group gatherings. Has a small playground right at the back which my daughter spent many mealtimes at. Many perks like kids eat free Sundays and Mondays, with different member specials over the work week.

The food was delicious. The lamb ribs were succulent and the Caesar salad was tasty. The seafood plate was a crowd pleaser. However, as it’s a family restaurant and they had a birthday booked, it was a bit chaotic when they arrived. The kids were running around crying and playing around the dining table. Some people were fine with it but others might have been annoyed.

One of the best ribs, cheesy toast and good food. Everything were fantastic. A huge restaurant and spacious seating areas. Staff were very welcoming. Food came quite fast.

We had a really disappointing experience at Rashays top ryde. We came as three families for lunch, including kids and a pregnant woman. Everything seemed fine at first, but after most of us had finished eating, one of the ladies ordered a chicken Caesar salad. While she was eating, she found a bug inside the salad. This is extremely concerning and clearly shows the lettuce was not properly washed. It was very upsetting for all of us, especially with children and a pregnant woman at the table. When we spoke to the manager, his attitude made the situation even worse. He was rude, dismissive, and basically suggested we were lying, saying they would never serve food like that. There was no real apology or accountability. Under Australian food safety standards and guidance from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, food must be safe and free from contamination. This experience did not meet those basic expectations. The only thing they offered was a refund for the salad, which is honestly not acceptable given what happened. I will also be lodging a formal complaint with the relevant authorities so this restaurant can be properly inspected. Very disappointing experience. We won’t be coming back.

The last two visits to Top Ryde Rashays were very disappointing. As soon as we entered, the floor felt sticky and looked dirty. The sofa seats were torn and there was rubbish everywhere. It was a very uninviting feeling. We like the food here, but if this continues, we will stop coming. Everything looked and felt unhygienic!
