We came to Riva on opening night for my birthday dinner and had such a beautiful evening. The service was exceptional. Attentive without ever being overbearing, and it was the smaller details that really stood out. Our coats were taken and put away for us, handbag hooks were brought to the table, the menu was talked through beautifully, and our wine glasses were never allowed to fall below half full. Nothing felt overlooked, and they made the occasion feel genuinely special. The food was exquisite, the portions were incredibly generous, and the setting and atmosphere were hard to beat. For an opening night, everything felt remarkably seamless. A really special addition to Rose Bay and somewhere we will absolutely be returning to.

We had the most divine experience dining at Riva, Rose Bay. As you step into the stunning lobby, you’re teleported to the Italian Riviera. The interiors ooze with charm and sophistication and the views are sensational. You simply must order a mandarino spritz (make that 2) and the beef tartara was to die for. Cannot wait to be back.

The atmosphere, setting and attention to detail was exceptional .. somehow managing to make the space feel like a luxury cruise on the French Riviera in its golden age. The only thing missing was Slim Aarons himself taking the photos.
