Riverside Bar & Dining is a fantastic spot in Penrith and definitely worth a visit. From the moment you walk in, the venue makes a great impression. The place looks amazing, with a stylish and welcoming atmosphere, and I absolutely love the aesthetic of the whole venue. It has a modern yet relaxed feel that makes it a great place to enjoy a meal, drinks, or both. The staff were genuinely friendly throughout the entire visit and the service was excellent. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and helped create a really enjoyable experience. The drinks menu is a standout. The Bloody Marys were fantastic, and the cocktails were equally impressive—well-made, balanced, and full of flavour. It's clear that a lot of care goes into the drinks, and they were one of the highlights of the visit. The only reason for the missing star was the Oysters Kilpatrick. To be clear, the oysters themselves were 100% fresh, high quality, and tasted great. My only criticism is that they were heavily smothered in sauce, which unfortunately overpowered the oysters and took away from the natural flavour and texture that make fresh oysters so enjoyable. The quality of the oysters was definitely there—I just would have preferred a lighter hand with the sauce so the freshness could really shine through. Overall, Riverside Bar & Dining offers excellent service, friendly staff, fantastic cocktails, and a beautiful venue with a great atmosphere. Despite my minor criticism of the Oysters Kilpatrick, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would happily return. Definitely one of Penrith's better spots for food and drinks.

Lunch 6/7/25 , value for money compared to other popular riverside bar/restaurant is very good. I would rather go here than say Log Cabin any day. All here is opposite. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was better priced more of it and as tasty as any. Can highly recommend the cheese platter. Loved it. atmosphere great, can have covered outdoor or indoor if you desire. Simple but adequate menu. Overall this is a place I'd happily go back to

Had the best seafood platter here with mum for my birthday. We got a bottle of prosseco as a gift. Was so big we had to take akot home. Def a platter for 4

Dinner for 6 for 18th Birthday. No service or hospitality at all. No acknowledgment of the occasion even though I mentioned it in my booking. Hot seafood platter was cold. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Charged us for 2 1/2 dozen oysters even though it was a dozen natural oysters with a small jug of dressing for 6 of them. Basa fillet was the fish of the day and the advertised special for Tuesday wasn’t even available. Terrible, will not go back!

We came here on Father’s Day and had a very disappointing experience. Staff greeted us rudely and seemed overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was mostly empty (just a couple and a family of 8 ahead of us). We waited over an hour for our food, only to receive the wrong items with multiple things missing. Our order was simple: a salmon croissant, 2 big breakfasts, and eggs with toast and bacon. The food itself was average at best, nothing special to justify the wait or the poor service. Overall, not worth the time or money.
