We recently visited Rumi and honestly the atmosphere was amazing. The music, the hospitality, the friendly staff, and the whole vibe of the restaurant was 10/10. Everyone was welcoming and respectful. The only thing that disappointed us a little bit was the food. Unfortunately, the food was around 5/10 for us. Everything else was beautiful, so it would be great if the restaurant could improve the quality and taste of the food, maybe with a different chef or some changes in the kitchen. Other than that, we really enjoyed the environment and the customer service. Wishing the team all the best.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Persian Dining Experience Tonight was our first visit, and it was truly a memorable experience. The Mixed Grill Platter was beautifully presented. The saffron chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, while the koobideh kebab was perfectly seasoned with a delicious smoky flavour. The grilled tomato and chilli added a fresh, authentic Persian touch. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Tahdig. The crispy golden rice crust was perfectly crunchy on the outside while remaining soft and fluffy inside—absolutely irresistible. It paired wonderfully with the kebabs. For dessert, the Kunafa was outstanding. Freshly baked, crispy, buttery, and topped with generous pistachios and fragrant dried rose petals, it was sweet without being overwhelming and made the perfect ending to our meal. The restaurant itself has a stylish, modern atmosphere with warm lighting and excellent service. Every dish was beautifully plated and full of authentic Persian flavours. A fantastic dining experience, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience authentic Persian cuisine in Sydney. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – Delicious food, beautiful presentation, and wonderful hospitality. 🇮🇷🍽️
Rumi Persian Kitchen delivers a fantastic dining experience. The food is delicious, full of rich flavours and beautifully presented. The modern interior creates a stylish and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for any occasion. The service is truly superb, friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Persian cuisine with a contemporary touch.
We had the most stunning Valentine’s Day dinner in the private room. Exceptional service, the most delicious and authentic Persian food. The photos don’t do justice. The taste you get here is unmatched !!!! We thank management and the whole team
We went to this place for kebab torsh, and it was completely tasteless and tough. We also ordered the vaziri kebab, which was completely undercooked. We got a pomegranate cocktail as well, and it just tasted like water—no flavor at all. When we talked to the cashier, he didn’t apologize, didn’t say anything, and didn’t even offer to take the kebab torsh off the bill or give a discount. It was a horrible experience and won’t recommend it to anyone, please do not waste your time and money because their food are extremely expensive too.when we got out of the restaurant, my partner was just vomiting because the meat was chewy and not fresh at all.
