Sahrati is the jewel of Liverpool’s food scene. From a comforting & attractive seating atmosphere to the friendliest service imaginable, this restaurant is an exception. The Sahrati staff are very warm and maintain positive relationships with the community. The food quality is impeccable and always served fresh. They have earned themselves a long-term customer! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here, you won’t regret it.
Paid $70 per person for the Ramadan buffet and unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. We arrived at 7:20pm for a 7:40pm Iftar, and the fried seafood was already sitting out on plates. By the time we broke our fast, most of the fried food was cold. For that price, you really expect fresh, hot food at Iftar. The soup had very little flavour. A lot of the dishes were just average. The Lebanese bread was stale, and the fattoush also tasted stale, which was disappointing. Desserts were another letdown. They tasted like boxed brownies and felt very low effort overall. The one highlight was the Lebanese rice with yogurt and meat sauce, which was actually quite nice. On a positive note, the service was great. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, for $70 a head during Ramadan, I expected much better quality and freshness.
I’ve always been a fan of Saharati’s food, but today’s experience was exceptional. The owner personally came to our table to ask how everything was, which was such a nice touch. He was very welcoming and a true gentleman. The staff were also incredibly attentive throughout our visit, regularly checking if we needed anything, whether we were enjoying the food, and offering to clear the table. The level of service was outstanding. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious as always. The chicken mushroom soup was amazing—so rich, creamy, and full of flavour. It practically melted in my mouth. I also had the grilled prawn skewers, which are one of my favourite dishes at Saharati, and they were cooked perfectly. The mixed barbecue platter was another highlight and never disappoints. Great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend Saharati to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!
We visited for the Ramadan buffet yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the staff were very welcoming. The ambience and location made the whole iftar even more enjoyable. The highlight for me was the Kunafa - it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place.
Fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and arrived quickly. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The staff were polite, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Highly recommend Sahrati to anyone looking for delicious food and great hospitality. We'll definitely be coming back!
