First time trying and we liked everything we ordered (laham mandi and siga wot combo). There’s free spiced black tea (shaah rinji?). Plenty of seating, a bit hard to find parking but there’s a nearby grocer with paid parking.
Great place to eat or dine with family. One plate portion can be for 2-3 people. The service is amazing, they handout free tea refills and soup for appetiser for free. I would highly recommend handi mandi (grilled lamb), laham mandi and barramundi. They also have a niqabi table where they have curtains for us to eat comfortably. Definitely will be back again ! :)
Had a really nice experience eating here. I appreciate there was a place to wash hands before starting. They didn’t go out of their way to help me choose what to eat even though I looked completely lost and told them it was my first time. But that I had fun choosing from the menu. When the food arrived without any cutlery I asked if I use hands and they gave me a silent nod. When I was leaving I saw that most other people in the restaurant were using a spoon to eat with so I felt a little silly. The free lamb soup was nice. I’d come again!
My most favourite Ethiopian/Somalian restaurant in Sydney. Their Injera, Doro Wot, different Combos, Suqaar, Tips, Mandi…pick anything from the menu and it’s worth every penny, full of flavours. I’ve been going there since 2019.
Had a great experience here tonight first time trying this food..... Wasn't sure what to order so platter for two lamb mandi rice lamb curry lentils on interactive bread.... Also a lamb sort of stir fry I guess and another lamb with spinach and other vegetables 😋 The lamb was to die for cooked perfectly 👌 it was amazingly 👏 The curry was delicious 😋 and I loved the lentils really good flavours we really enjoyed the food..... Very laid back atmosphere and appreciated the clove spiced tea.... Definitely come back to try again as I really wanted to try the Foul and see the difference of that compared to the turkish one I know.... Thanks for the experience......
