Samudram is an amazing mix of authentic Coastal Indian cuisines. Sid the chef & owner blends his own spices and specialises in wildcaught seafood curries. I loved all the dishes especially the Goan Prawn curry and the Goan green Barramundi curry. The Dosa and Kerala Parrota were sensational and the eggplant Masala was a perfect accompaniment. Had a fantastic meal here recently. The food was excellent and I loved the personal touch from the owner. He came over and said hello and said goodbye when we were leaving. The food was extremely fresh and tasted authentic. We will happily return and try some of the different main options. They also cater for gluten free well.

The atmosphere adds to the charm—it’s warm, inviting, and beautifully set up, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. On top of that, the service is excellent. The staff are attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with recommendations. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic South Indian food paired with a great ambiance and top-notch service, Samudram is definitely worth a visit.

Amazing South Indian cuisine in Mosman! I was utterly impressed at how authentic and delicious the curries and food were at Samudram. Every curry was made from raw spices and not pre made blends. You could tell straight away that this was not your ordinary Indian restaurant. I thought this food was exceptional. I’ll be coming back
