Shamama is a great place to enjoy delicious food with big servings that really fill you up. The flavours are solid, and everything tastes freshly made. For the amount of food you get, the prices are very reasonable, which makes the meal feel worth it. The service is also very nice — the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. And the kebabs? Easily some of the best I’ve tried. They’re tasty, well‑seasoned, and generously portioned. Overall, Shamama is a spot I’d happily recommend to anyone craving good food at a good price.

First time trying Afghani cuisine visiting a good friend in Merrylands. Owner was incredibly kind in offering us complimentary soups to start and we helped ourselves to some tea! Portions are generous we left with our bellies filled and will be returning again for the lamb dumplings and trying out the other dishes.

We loved how clean the restaurant was - the team had definitely put in a lot of effort to keep the place spotless. The food was fresh and fantastic. The servings were generous and the prices were reasonable. Definitely going back again إن شاء الله

Shamama takes the crown. Truly excellent. We really enjoyed takeaway from here last night. Will 100% recommend and return! Also got the chicken Karahi which we also enjoyed. The bread is so good!

Amazing experience!! I have come here many times and tried different items from the menu. They have never disappointed me. The location is very convenient. It is just opposite to Merrylands train station. The pricing is very reasonable. The stuffs are very friendly. Highly recommended!!
