I’ve visited the Shangri-La High Tea twice now for work events, and it always feels like an absolute treat! You simply cannot pass up the breathtaking view from Level 36. The drink packages are great value, whether you stick to tea/coffee or go for the unlimited sparkling option. I tried three different teas during my visits and loved them all, with the Redgum tea being a stand-out recommendation! The scones were also fantastic. On the food side, however, there’s a bit of room for improvement. The portions are on the smaller side (especially the sandwiches), and because I don't have much of a sweet tooth, I found myself wanting more savory bites. The hot food items were probably the least impressive part of the tier. My last visit also felt like they were short staffed so they forgot an item or I would have to keep asking for service. All in all, it’s worth going for the incredible atmosphere, top-tier tea, and incredible views!

A very warm welcome when I arrived by Elizabeth at the front desk, she took me to a perfect spot with beautiful dining set table and million dollar view 😍, Alfie and Red very talk active and pleasant to served me during dining time and taken lots of photos! 😘, well worth money to spent for this dining experience, highly recommended for world class dining place, a very convenient place to have an event or just spend time for culinary experience, thank you for your very pleasant service and especially I celebrated to remember my loved one’s birthday in heaven and I found joy and great moment to celebrate! Highly recommend and Will be come back again! ❤️

Visited Shangri-La for high tea and the harbour views are undeniably the highlight — sweeping outlooks over the Harbour Bridge and Opera House that instantly make the afternoon feel special. Service was polished and attentive throughout, and the high tea itself was thoughtfully executed. The savoury and sweet selections were well balanced and beautifully presented, and the scones were warm and fresh with a generous tea selection to match. From a decor perspective, the space feels slightly dated, with carpeting and interiors that lean more travelodge/ibis hotel than refined high tea. The layout is also quite table-dense, which can make it feel closer to a breakfast buffet setting than a sophisticated afternoon experience. That said, the views, service and quality of the food ultimately define the visit. Still a memorable and worthwhile choice for a special occasion.

I made the booking at Blu Bar at Shangri-La to celebrate one of my best friend’s engagement over high tea, and the entire experience was truly second to none. From the moment we arrived, the service was professional, welcoming, and made us feel genuinely special. The presentation of the high tea was stunning, every bite was delicious, and the views created the most beautiful backdrop for such a meaningful occasion. A special shout out to Stella and Everly their exceptional service truly elevated our experience and made the celebration even more memorable. It wasn’t just high tea, it was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone marking a special moment or simply wanting an exceptional afternoon.
