Visiting Lane Cove, we had no idea where to go for some good food and drinks. A high google rating for Shorties sealed the deal. The sticky pork belly entree was exactly that, sticky and sensationally tasty. Then the $30 steaks arrived, perfectly cooked and delicious. All this combined with a cool venue, good variety of wine & cocktails and an owner that went out of the way to greet you and thank you for coming at the other end of the night, confirmed this place deserves its almost perfect rating.

Excellent night at Shorties celebrating our citizenship with friends. Service was incredible as well as the food and tap beers. They even gave us a gift and a card. So glad we chose this place for our special day. Thanks!!! Noelia & Brian

Dinned here on a Friday evening. Dog friendly establishment. We shared a few plates. The stand out dish was the snapper ceviche. The fried buttermilk chicken was generous is serving size however didn't taste that fresh. Would i come back here? Yes I would as the service was grand.

I may be a little biased given I’m a local, well 6ths local… my partner & I simply love this venue. Relaxed, alfresco, casual yet with a high end feel. Just such a friendly place. Special shout out to the stunning Alex & beautiful Ellie whose customer care & competence surpasses many venues. The food is excellent, the service so efficient, warm & welcoming. The drinks are prompt & cold, my Negroni is always on point! Thank you Alex, Ellie for the personal touch - we will see you soon ❤️

I was looking for somewhere casual with atmosphere to celebrate 53 with my husband and kids, and Shorties turned out to be perfect!. The service and hospitality were an absolute standout, as were the range of cocktails and our meals were delicious too!
