We had a wonderful experience at the Syrian restaurant & are so glad we popped in for lunch so spontaneously. We ordered the village breakfast & a few other starters – and a variety of beautiful & delicious dishes arrived. The portions were unusually generous & everything was fresh, colourful & with many different flavours. It was our first encounter with Syrian food. It’s a family owned place & we were met with unusual hospitality & despite the language barrier we managed to understand each other. In addition to the delicious food we got to try a fantastic tea & the male owner showed us the packaging so that we could buy the tea later in a shop on the street. It was a very nice experience & we left with a pleasant feeling due to the nice atmosphere & the conviviality. They brewed a particularly strong coffee which they offered as an extra plus. Highly recommended this family restaurant that doesn't look special on the outside but offers enormous warmth & generosity on the inside.

Went here not knowing what to expect and was amazed at the breakfast. Soooo yummy and the owners were very helpful. Great food, great value…definitely worth the trip would come here again

We had the most beautiful experience here yesterday 💛 We arrived around 11.30 am and ordered the village breakfast and honestly, we could not eat another thing for the rest of the day. The portions were incredibly generous and everything was fresh, delicious and full of variety – a perfect introduction if it’s your first time trying Syrian cuisine. What made it even more special was the family who runs it. We saw three generations sitting together at a table, enjoying each other’s company, and the whole place felt warm and loving. Their English is limited, but their hospitality and their food are absolutely full of heart. Highly recommend, especially the village breakfast 🙌✨

Took my family for a drive to this Syrian Restaurant and from the time we stepped in the shop the service was excellent, we were greeted and seated right away, the lady who was looking after us was lovely and polite, mentioned the new menu item that she had and food was made quickly and very fresh. Family friendly and definitely recommend for everyone to please come and try for yourself. Good value for money too.

Found this place through my son. It is one of the best, authentic middle eastern restaurants I've ever found. It is family run. The proprietor was a Michelin star chef in his native Syria, from which he fled under persecution. The premises are newly renovated, but disarmingly informal for such fine food. Highly recommend the village breakfast (big enough to feed a village). The mixed plate was also awesome. Very popular at lunchtime, so i recommend you come a bit early or late.
