15th May 2026 - Absolutely deserves 5 stars on all counts. Food, Service and Atmosphere. We were allocated a table outside the restaurant but was kept very warm by the heaters above. The service from the minute we were welcomed til paying the bill was flawless. We had encounters with multiple staff and every single one of them were incredibly pleasant and welcoming. And with everything being so fantastic the food also hit another level. Every dish we tried was delicious and well presented and so very flavoursome. The roasted duck san choy bow was one of my favourites of the night. For those that like Jack Daniels - give the BB King a go - that was something special. We will definitely recommend this restaurant as well as visit again ourselves..

What a fantastic dining experience at this spot in St Leonards. We shared a variety of dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The steamed dumplings were fresh, perfectly translucent, and had such a wonderful texture. The scallops served on the shell were a real highlight. They were cooked perfectly and looked beautiful on the table. Every plate we ordered was fresh and hit the spot. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Most spectacular Asian Fusion restaurant I’ve ever been too. I wanna say places like this are what make being in Sydney even more special. A true and proper restaurant experience from start to dessert and the service is exceptional mind you I came for the food but stayed for the good vibes. Could not recommend it higher than to come in and try it your self. We ordered off the à la carte menu but the 9 course dinner would always be a special treat too. Fair to say I don’t come here enough. Thanks again.

Went to Rice Den for a friend’s birthday dinner and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. The service was incredibly warm, friendly, and efficient… the kind that makes you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk in. Every dish we ate was absolutely delicious, beautifully balanced and full of flavour. AMAZING cocktails too!!! The atmosphere was immaculate: warm, buzzing, and just really great vibes all around!!! Such a special place for a celebration. Would definitely come back again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We had a delightful dinner at The Rice Den, where Roy and his talented head chef, along with their dedicated kitchen and service teams, truly made the evening special. ❤️ Our evening began with homemade dumplings, each a little bundle of joy. Then came the shallot ginger crab—easily the best I’ve ever tasted, a dish so memorable it demands a 48-hour notice because of the care put into its stock. The shrimp on sourdough was zestfully fresh, the roast duck in lettuce wraps melted tenderly with each bite, and the garlic shallot fried rice was a perfect harmony of flavors. For dessert, the French toast ice cream and fried ice cream with homemade caramel sauce were dreamily delicious. 🥢😋 Accompanied by finely selected sake and rich red wine, our meal was not just food, but an experience to cherish. It was a beautiful evening filled with laughter and love, thanks to The Rice Den—a true culinary treasure!
