We had an amazing experience at Three Blue Ducks. The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We ordered the oysters to start and they were so fresh and tangy, with no unpleasant aftertaste at all — just clean, beautiful flavor. The beef roast was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor. The pastry bread that came with it was so unique — light, fluffy, and different in the best way. They were also incredibly generous with the gravy, which was rich and delicious. We also had the gnocchi, and it was just as impressive. The gnocchi itself was fresh and soft, and the sauce paired beautifully — light, well-balanced, and full of flavor without being too heavy. The only small downside was that it felt a bit hot while we were seated, and there were moments when water dripped on us. However, despite that, the overall experience was fantastic. The quality of the food more than made up for it, and we’ll definitely be back!
Went for a celebratory lunch on a Sunday. Opted for the $75 set menu. The meats were all perfectly cooked. The yorkie was more for show than for taste. Glad we added the side salad and cabbage to break up the richness. There were small portions of dessert to share - but even though they downsized the portion, we still didn’t get one each, which was odd. They added an extra one when we mentioned this. Great wine selection. Kids colouring was a plus.
What a great place, great people great food! Being fans of Andy Allen and MasterChef it was a dream come true to actually visit this place. Expectations were high, but they delivered. We were there for Sunday roast. It was awesome. We had to leave early because our daughter had a migraine. The staff was so nice and understanding and bagged up our food.
Well done to the lads and lasses for cooking up an absolute banger of a roast! Could not fault it. Exceptional Yorkie! The cauliflower and cheese and pigs in blankets were delicious too. This Brit was seriously impressed. 🇬🇧
Sunday Roast - we had beef and pork both served with all the trimmings. Enjoyed by all the family but we thought the Yorkshire Puddings were too heavy, needed to be lighter. This is of course subjective but nevertheless it was the opinion of all the family. Overall we enjoyed our experience.
