We tried the Tibetan Peace Restaurant for the first time on a Friday night and it was absolutely delightful. The food was delicious!! The Chicken Chow Mein was very flavoursome and cooked perfectly, and the Chicken Thenthuk broth was outstanding, so robust. The dish was packed with chicken and Tibetan noodles, and so satisfying!! The steamed Beef Momos were also delicious. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly and the staff are extremely helpful. We'll definitely be back!! 🍲🙏
Loved the vibe and the food. We ordered Veg Chowmin, momos and tea. Everything was delicious. I liked this place. One small suggestion, momos layer was very thick, it could be a bit thin.
Delicious, but it tastes a bit different from what I had in Tibet. This Tibetan noodle is so similar to mie goreng, haha. The handmade noodles are cute—square and chunky. The beef is a bit dry and chewy, but maybe Tibetans prefer this texture, since I’ve tried yak meat before and it’s really tough. The lassi is tasty~ The guy working here is super nice too.
Absolutely loved my first experience with Tibetan cuisine! This place is fantastic! It effortlessly captures the essence of Tibet in Sydney, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. As for the food… I can’t recommend it enough! My favorites were definitely the Yellow Laping, Chowmein, and the Mango Lassi. I will definitely be coming back!
this new Tibetan joint oozes with authenticity. their momos were bursting with flavour, and their menu options were simple but amazing! thoroughly enjoyed my meal. their homemade chilli sauce was also very well done. the staff were also so friendly and offered great recommendations!
