What a great place! I booked online and followed up with a call asking if it was ok to bring a birthday cake - which it was, what a lovely manager I spoke to. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in, young keen friendly staff who were so polite. They offered to set up our ice cream cake and the young man put so much effort into the candles, it was really sweet. The food was just beautiful! This is now my favourite Italian restaurant in the area. We had 2 pizzas, beef ragu pasta, chicken schnitzel and pumpkin mushroom risotto. It was all very tasty with real ingredients, fresh, and well presented with generous servings. Our favourite was the beef ragu pasta and schnitzel. The prices were good too. Thank you Tins&Wood my Mum had a lovely birthday and we will be back, and telling our friends about your restaurant.

Food is fantastic. Dessert was fantastic. Service was top notch. It’s very busy and can be a little loud but nothing over the top. I would highly recommend. It’s a small seating area downstairs so keep that in mind when busy. Tables were a little sticky.

We had our micro-wedding at Tins & Wood and I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. The food was absolutely incredible, generous portions, full of flavour, and every single one of my family members left full to the brim and raving about it. The service was just as amazing: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to the owner, Fanio. From my very first enquiry, he was kind, patient, and incredibly flexible with the menu. He even opened the venue during their closing time to accommodate us and allowed us to have the space, which meant the world to us. The function room itself was gorgeous, it honestly didn’t need much at all to look beautiful. Everything came together so seamlessly. Thank you, Fanio, for making my husband’s and my day absolutely unforgettable. It was truly memorable, and we will forever be grateful for the care and effort you put into making our wedding so special.

Definitely 5 star rating for this restaurant tonight. The food was delicious, fresh and well plated. The service was impeccable. We were attended to by various staff members and each and every one of them were pleasant, polite and very helpful making us feel so very welcome. The atmosphere is great also, there are a few different areas of dining upstairs, downstairs and outdoors. We were that impressed that we had to make mention to the manager on shift just how fantastic our night was. Definitely give this place a visit.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Tins & Wood. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, stylish, and relaxed—exactly what you want for a great night out. A standout was Callum, who looked after us throughout the evening. His knowledge of the menu was exceptional, and he was able to confidently guide us through food and drink options with genuine enthusiasm. Every recommendation was spot on. Beyond that, his professionalism really elevated the whole experience—attentive without being overbearing, friendly without feeling forced, and clearly passionate about what he does. Service like that makes a huge difference, and it’s rare to come across someone who strikes that balance so well. Combined with the quality of the food and overall vibe, this place is an easy 5 stars. Will definitely be back!
