We had a wonderful dining experience at Toki. The private room was the perfect size, intimate yet very comfortable, and the ambience and privacy made the evening feel extra special. The service was excellent throughout the night, attentive, warm and very professional. But the real highlight was the food, which was outstanding. The whole duck, which is encouraged to be pre-ordered so you don’t miss out, was absolutely fabulous. Very crispy skin! The tomahawk steak was also the best I’ve had, incredibly tender for such a large cut and perfectly cooked. Definitely make sure you leave room for dessert as well. Everything was beautifully executed and we’ll absolutely be back.

Dishes were presented beautifully and service was exceptional. We really enjoyed each dish. The snow crab toast was nice and crispy and had lots of flavour. The chicken liver parfait combination with the jelly and blackberries worked so well. The steak was so tender and the nori salt fries were extremely addictive.

We had a great experience celebrating a major milestone. It was a bit expensive, but the cuisine was truly first-class. We would have loved to order the Tomahawk, but it was sold out. The first bottle of wine was subpar, but the second was much better. The cocktails were excellent. The restaurant seemed very busy that night, so sometimes it was difficult to get staff attention—but whenever we did, the team was very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Went here last night with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and it turned out to be such a great find. This French Asian fusion restaurant in the North Shore is surprisingly under the radar. I haven’t seen many people talking about it, but it definitely deserves more attention. The ambiance is lovely, a classy bistro style setting that feels both relaxed and refined. It’s also conveniently located right opposite a metro station, which makes getting there super easy. Service was another highlight, the staff were friendly, approachable, and attentive throughout the night. We ordered quite a spread for four of us. Overall, the dishes showcase unique flavours with thoughtful combinations that are well balanced. For starters, the chicken liver parfait with cranberry yuzu jelly and lavender jus was beautifully executed. The snow crab toast had a great crunch, though we felt the prawn flavour was a bit more prominent than the crab. The standout was definitely their signature duck sausage, a must order starter. The aged duck breast really elevated the flavour. For main, I had the lamb rump. The lamb was perfectly cooked with a nice char on the outside. I also tried my friends’ dishes. They ordered the whole spatchcock and the flat iron steak. The steak was especially impressive. Usually this cut can be a bit dry due to its leanness, but the meat was juicy and tender. We also shared some sides - shokupan with mushroom butter, frites with nori salt, and asparagus with shio koji. The shokupan had an amazing aroma, though the texture was slightly denser than expected. Of course, to end such a beautiful meal, we had the choux puff served with caramel wasabi ice cream. The choux puff was light and crisp, but the star was the caramel wasabi ice cream. It was slightly sweet with a subtle kick. Such a unique flavour and addictive which left us wanting more. Overall, very impressed. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back to try their future menus.

Very vibey and the food was delicious! We especially liked that the staff were not in your face yet everything was served really promptly (no one likes being asked how everything is while you have a mouthful of food so it was nice for fine dining). Highlights were the crab toast, stracciatella and the steak. The steak was especially good and reasonably priced. Also shout out to Guillaume
