The food was good, but the service felt selective and unwelcoming. I was the only dine-in customer that evening. At around 8:45pm, while I was still eating, I was told “Just letting you know we’ll be closing at 9.” Although the sentence itself was polite, the timing and manner clearly made me feel rushed. What made this uncomfortable was the inconsistency. About 10 minutes later, with less than five minutes until closing, a takeaway order was accepted over the phone without any hesitation. This showed that the closing time was flexible — just not for dine-in customers. More concerning was the difference in how customers were treated. White customers were greeted warmly and farewelled with smiles and “have a good evening”, while Asian or non-white customers, including myself, received minimal acknowledgement and no farewell at all. Even at payment, the interaction felt purely procedural rather than genuinely hospitable. Hospitality is not just about saying the right words, but about treating all customers with the same level of respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
The best Thai Food I've tasted in Sydney so far. The pork belly dishes are a stand out. Bonus points for spicy dishes; they have a decent kick but the spice is outrageous. Overall, a fantastic, decently priced choice for dinner.
Local Thai takeaway with wide menu and nice interiors. Beef salad was pretty spicy but full of flavour. A shame they don't have any outdoor seating as it's a nice area tucked away from the street slightly.
We ordered our first take away from here tonight and will be doing so again without hesitation - it took only 15 minutes to be ready. The online ordering / website is so simple - best of its type we’ve used. Chicken Pad see iew, pineapple fried rice and Thai beef salad all met expectations. Excellent value for money - we look forward to trying other items. Complimentary prawn crackers were a nice surprise for online orders over $40
Been here a few times. Food is fairly good. But my most recent visit was very disappointing. Advertised free bag of prawn crackers with pick up. I ordered directly with on their website for pickup. My order came 20 cents shy of the amount. I acknowledged that this is fair, so I asked if I could add a drink to the order to get the prawn crackers. The lady at the cashier said no because the prawn crackers are only for phone orders. However she didn’t mention that fact when she said that I had not ordered enough. So either she is incredibly difficult to customers over 20 cents, or the business is false advertising. Unfortunately this is enough to deter me. However if this doesn’t matter to you then it’s actually been great food and affordability.
