Vans is a great local restaurant with a chilled vibe, friendly staff and outstanding food. Really interest cross section of Asian and European cuisine! The dumplings were amazing: could just eat those! The steamed fish was perfect and side greens perfectly cooked! The wine list is special and the owner passionate about the selection! Great night! Thank you!
One of the best restaurant in that part of town! The food is impeccable, generous, super fresh, fine dining level for many dishes, best dumpling around for example, yet the prince tag is very friendly. The wine collection is remarkable and punch above many fancy place. Ask to have a look in the rack and pick one of the great Aussie vineyard, plenty of 2018 and 2019 perfect for this winter! Just leave a bit for me xx
We had an early sitting (5:30pm) on a Saturday. Loved the quiet ambience and fitout. Complimentary bubbles on arrival (pays to know people 😉). Amazing varied interesting menu. Food was delicious and so beautifully prepared and presented - the oysters are a must !! Service 10/10. Polite, attentive and friendly. We will be back as we need to keep working our way through the fusion-esque offerings! Highly commended.
This is by far the most refined restaurant of the area. I have been walking past for months and always wanted to try. Asian fusion food with great quality products. The service is really good and the tables outside very pleasant in the evening. We all shared dishes, as intended to be. All the dishes we ordered were perfectly cooked and presented. The flavours are spot on everytime and it really takes you to southeast Asia. Don't overlook the desserts they also deliver big time: the pandan crêpes were amazing. The only comment we had is the portions that can be a bit small for some dishes. Example one crepe for $14. We ordered a second one (because they were good) Hats off to the chef, we'll come back for sure.
This is a must try in the Eastern Suburbs. This little restaurant is impeccable. From the service, the ambience and THE FOOD! The flavours are delicious. Asian fusion at its best. My favourites are the John Dory curry and the spicy eggplant. You must try a cocktail. The margarita is one of the best I’ve had. Perfectly balanced. Be warned you might have a second or a third (sorry it was too good I didn’t get a photo). Oh and dessert. I just tried the new banana fritters. Nice and crunchy on the outside, smooth on the inside with burnt honeycomb. Yum! Can’t wait to come back!
