I visited Vincenzo's last night with my partner. I had been thinking about dining there for quite some time, so we finally decided to give it a try. We were greeted with a warm smile, and our waiter took the time to explain the menu thoroughly. Our wines were served promptly, the food arrived quickly, and the table was cleared quickly. However, there was very little interaction beyond that. I don't expect constant attention when dining out, and I actually prefer servers not to be overly involved, but I felt a little more engagement could have enhanced the experience. The service felt somewhat distant. I really enjoyed the wine selection. We tried both the rosé and the Riesling, and the Riesling was particularly impressive. As for the food, there is absolutely no fault to be found. The portion sizes were right, and everything we tried was delicious. Overall, it was a good experience, but I probably wouldn't rush back for another time. I think the ambience & atmosphere and service felt a bit stiff for my taste. That said, the food and wine were both very enjoyable, and we had a pleasant evening overall.

The food and wine went very well together, and every dish was delicious. The pasta was especially tasty. The warm brodo was perfect for the cold weather. The service was also good, friendly, and professional. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

This is like a secret restaurant in Sydney; the setting is low key and understated but the food is exceptional. Some of Sydney’s best. The attention to detail, flavours, and presentation is extraordinary. We had the eggplant which our duster insisted on and thank goodness; beautifully presented and tasted crunchy, soft, rich and delicious. The prawns were also a 10. Perfectly cooked in butter and bursting with juicy flavour. Chicken under a brick was very good too. The wine list is world class; not cheap but excellent. Fabulous flourless chocolate cake topped off a truly fabulous meal.

Catching up with my friends — one is a chef, and the other loves cooking. My friends started their meals with oysters with white balsamic dressing. We then shared a veal tongue and scamorza sandwich, which was incredibly tasty and highly recommended. Another entrée was tuna crudo with tonnato dressing and Sardinian crisp bread — fresh, flavourful, and refreshing. My favourite dish was the fried eggplant with tomato jam and salted ricotta. It was perfectly crunchy and light on the outside, while juicy and full of flavour inside. A special highlight was when a chef came out from the kitchen with zucchini flowers filled with five cheeses and anchovy, kindly offering them for us to try — such a thoughtful touch. For mains, we had spaghetti with chilli and tomato (and another ingredient I can’t quite remember), cooked to perfect al dente and delicious - gotta have it with their pickled chilli oil. We also shared the whole yellow belly flounder with vongole and sea blite, which was outstanding — especially the sauce. On the side, we enjoyed a rocket salad with shallots and aged balsamic, along with chips seasoned with rosemary salt and served with truffle aioli. For dessert we had coffee granita with mascarpone on top. Just like eating cold tiramisu but lighter and refresher. I really like the simple and honest look of the food and plates. 💛 The service was absolutely pleasant from start to finish. I will definitely have to bring my husband here next time😊.

Vin-Cenzo’s is tucked away in the quiet streets of Darlinghurst and it feels like a true neighbourhood gem. Their are multiple rooms and the layout make it feel like you’re dining in nonna’s house. The staff are warm and friendly and know the menu very well. The menu is considered which makes ordering a dream. The arancini balls are a must, the n’duja gives them a nice little kick. The scallops are so good, it’s hard to stop at one. The mortadella Ainolonti in broth is a nice starter to the pasta course followed up by the rigatoni again with the spice n’duja was a great selection. Don’t skip on the bistecca and the side of creamy spinach and silver beet, they pair really well. Great evening and atmosphere, cosy enough for catch up with friends and even date nights.
