We had a really enjoyable experience here. The portions were very generous and the hospitality truly stood out. The lovely lady who served us noticed how much we liked the bread and surprised us with extra on the house. A small gesture that made a big difference and felt genuinely caring. A special mention to the jajeek (yoghurt and cucumber). Fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced. It was easily one of the highlights of the meal and paired beautifully with the bread and grilled dishes. The only downside was the lamb tikka, which was a bit chewy and not as tender as expected. It may have been a marinade or cooking issue, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. All in all, a solid spot for Iraqi food with great service, and I’d definitely return if I’m in the area.
Great food. All the meat was well cooked, fresh, succulent, beautifully spiced. The chicken wrap was particularly tasty, with a very tangy lemon marinade. The chicken was cooked all the way through but it wasn't dry. The lamb was beautifully char grilled and melt in the mouth. All the ingredients were obviously fresh. They have a mint and lemon ice blended drink that was wonderfully sour and refreshing. Everything was modestly priced. Don't expect the menu to be unique, elaborate, or exotic. The menu was small but what they do, they do very very well.
I arrived bit outside working hours, but i was still welcomed with great service and hospitality from Addie, even recommend the best sellers from the menue which made it easier for me to order. Highly recommend the place. Best charcoal skewers in the area. And again thanks to Addie and the boys helping out
Absolutely fantastic Middle Eastern restaurant. The food was authentic, rich in flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned — you can tell real care goes into the cooking. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great balance between traditional Middle Eastern charm and modern comfort. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed family dinner or catch up with friends over generous shared plates. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience — highly recommended.
I ordered chicken, but it arrived completely burnt and inedible. The delivery also took over an hour. Everything was overcooked even the onions and tomatoes
