We’ve been looking for a hotpot that tastes like Adelaide’s Hot & Spicy Kitchen, and this was the closest we’ve found so far. The dry stir-fry hotpot with Sichuan pepper flavour was delicious—numbing, spicy, and full of flavour. Not exactly the same, but definitely not bad at all! 🔥🍲
The food tasted good, but unfortunately I received the wrong order. Last night I used uber app to ordered the Spicy Dry Wok, but I received Malatang soup instead. I also received ingredients that I didn’t order (such as tofu), while some of the meat and vegetables I paid for were missing. Although the soup was tasty, it wasn’t what I ordered, and I received fewer ingredients than I paid for. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to order accuracy in the future.
When i looked the reviewer from youtube that suggested this place is better than the other malatang and it made me intriguing to try it. The youtuber said so fresh , hmmm okay. I tried their food in 2 ocassion (last week and this week). Last week - mushroom soup. I dont see anything fresh except the soup is delicious, thanks to MSG. MSG saved the food and made it yummy. This week- spicy soup. I really do not like the base. I tasted plenty cooking wine which brought the taste is not enjoyable. Tried the tripe suggested and damn it is still hard to chew and not soft enough. This costed me 35 bucks for spicy soup and 29 bucks for mushroom soup. Just beware, they are not cheap to eat there, make sure you put small quantity.
Today was my first time here, and I had the best experience trying Malatang because of EDDY. Eddy is an absolute sweetheart who helped us understand what could be good for us according to our preferences. As a vegetarian, I never expected to enjoy this so much, but with the exceptional assistance from Eddy, I was able to savour something new. I would come here again only because of Eddy ✨✨ Thank you!
Went to this restaurant today with my friend and the food was honestly amazing! I was craving this kind of food for so long, and it was exactly what I needed. They used to have a shop in Burwood, but unfortunately it closed permanently😔😭, so we visited their nearest branch at the market. The food completely exceeded my expectations👌👌. Everything was so flavorful, especially the spicy mix with the spicy sauce it was SO good....I even finished my entire plate because it was that delicious The taste, the spice, and the overall experience were absolutely worth it. Definitely coming back again!❤️❤️❤️
