I usually enjoy this place and most of the staff are wonderful. However, on multiple Sundays I’ve been served by a junior female staff member who gives noticeably small portions and the containers aren’t filled, and I often receive mostly greens with little to no meat. It’s happened several times now. I would recommend level 1’s Soul Origin
Do not come here, food is re-used and sold so they can make profit. One of the least fresh soul origin places I have ever been to. This cannot be part of the franchise guidelines, you're meant to discard food at the end of the day.
I paid for 2 lattes and an almond croissant at 4:30pm and asked for my croissant to be toasted. They refused to toast it claiming that “the oven was closed.” I was upset by this as there wasn’t even any other customers that they had and it was such an easy request to fulfill for a paying customer and they denied. Even the seating area was closed off early. Not a good experience for paying customers.
The barista uses the TABLE CLOTH to clean the STEAM WAND. Absolutely disgusting and goes against basic hygiene principles and common sense. I'm a licensed barista myself and this is the first thing they teach you NOT TO DO in the 101 course. The barista then told me that they clean the towel every half an hour. So does that mean every customer who buys a coffee has to risk cross contamination until they clean the towel at the 30 minute mark? Do better, get an extra cloth just for cleaning the steam wand. It is not hard. Otherwise, you shouldn't even be serving coffee. Also the coffee was very watery. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Was recommended to try an iced Strawberry and it was absolutely delicious. Service was prompt and very polite.
