Mr Panino in Barangaroo is a standout spot for anyone craving authentic Italian flavours in a casual, welcoming setting. From the first bite, it’s clear they prioritise fresh, high-quality ingredients, everything tastes vibrant and genuinely Italian, not just a quick imitation. The menu is simple but done exceptionally well, and you can really taste the care that goes into each item. Their catering is also equally impressive. When I went to pick up the food it was fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with the same level of care as their in store offerings. The presentation is polished and appealing, making it perfect for office events or group gatherings it looks as good as it tastes and is always a crowdpleaser. What truly elevates the experience is the team. The staff are consistently friendly, approachable, and efficient, making every visit smooth and enjoyable. A special thanks has to go to Francesco who brings warmth and professionalism that perfectly reflects the Italian spirit to the place and for his attention to customers and passion for great service doesn’t go unnoticed. The environment is also a big plus it’s clean, well kept, and comfortable, whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or taking a short break during a busy day. Despite how popular it gets, the service remains impressively quick without compromising quality. Overall, Mr Panino delivers on all fronts authentic flavours, fresh ingredients, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you’ll find yourself coming back to regularly.

Stumbled upon this place while walking through Barangaroo and so glad I stopped! I ordered the Mortazza and Vitello Tonnato, and both were incredible. The highlight for me was the bread! It has that perfect crunch on the outside but stays amazingly soft and chewy in the middle. I also noticed they offer GF options, which is a huge win for inclusivity. Could resist to also ordered the Polpette and Salmon Carpaccio, which were super fresh going with a drink!

Hands down the best place in Sydney for an authentic Italian panino! Really appreciated the fresh quality of the ingredients, the cosy location and the friendliness of the staff :)
