First time here. The porcetta sandwich was delicious! The service from the young men was welcoming and attentive. Sandwich was made quickly and very well presented. I’ll be back to try out the rest of the menu. Grazie! 11 July: 1pm Saturday and the place is quite busy. I ordered the Mortadella sandwich. The team of 3 young staff members were industriously pumping out the sandwiches, making them with care and the ingredients layered generously. I waited under 10 mins and WOWWEE did my sandwich taste divine!

So overhyped and not worth it. Ordered the pastrami sandwich for around $25 and waited 20+ minutes for it to be made. It was honestly disappointing—barely any meat, poorly assembled, and looked like it was thrown together with no care. For the price, it felt like a rip-off. I don’t mind paying for good food, but this was not it. You can get a far better sandwich elsewhere in Sydney for less money and less wait time. Would not recommend.

Slicing the good stuff and putting between a split focaccia is as old as Italy (actually older, but...). The key to the tomato, buffalo mozzarella and pesto is each of the 4 to hit the spot. Here, the ingredients have promise, but not one that's kept as well as it can. The foccacia is excellent and warmed well. The cheese is very good, but needs to be brought to room temperature. The pesto is very good. The tomatoes, ah the tomatoes. They need ageing and care. In Oz, they just can't be handled like a commodity. These will be ok in about a week. Today, they are typically hard and tasteless. The service is ok, but not really interested in any of the customers seated. Maybe that's why it's the only place on this street that isn't overflowing.

This mortadella focaccia sandwich was perfection. The balance was absolutely spot on. Too often, mortadella sandwiches can be overwhelmingly salty or piled so high with meat that you lose all nuance. Not here. The focaccia itself was not too thick and had a delicate crunch on the outside. Every element felt intentional - creamy, salty, fresh and bright all in harmony. The chilli really added to the balance. Nothing slid out, nothing overpowered, nothing felt heavy. On top of that, the service was friendly, warm and efficient.

Good flavours and a nice selection of fillings for their focaccia - everything feels fresh and well-balanced. The spot sits in a windy little alleyway, but otherwise it’s a solid choice for a quick, tasty sandwich fix.
