We had some takeaway today. Although the food was good. I think to charge $2 for a very small tomato sauce is just unacceptable. I get you could probably charge 50c but $2. A whole bottle of tomato sauce in the supermarket is $4… so is trapping customers that don’t simply have an option but to buy it as you would not want to have the chips without it. And no option since already ordered and paid for food…. So for 4 little containers of sauce spent $8…. Even if the food was good I would not be back…

MANNNNN! Holy hell. This place is incredible. Probably the best seafood I’ve had in Sydney. Very fresh, the perfect blend of batter. Didn’t feel too heavy at all. I was struggling to put the rest aside because I was full. This is indeed a MUST TRY. Also if you’re looking for something not fried the grilled Pacific Dory is OUT OF THIS WORLD. So flavorful and fresh. My mom is literally calling everyone in America to let them know she has had the “BEST FISH SHE HAS EVER HAD” she’s literally doing that now on the phone. hahaha so good. I’ll def be back soon!

Terrible experience at your Coogee beach store. Take away. Fish dripping in oil and inedible, with pale clearly undercooked floppy oil saturated chips also inedible. On top of that interestingly the man handing out the orders kindly offered every take away customer before me some cutlery as well as a bag but in my case only handed me the fish and chips box until I had to ask for each of cutlery and a bag. I’m not going to suggest racially driven but there’s the pink elephant on the wall. Sent photos and feedback directly via email to management immediately after rather than Google reviews but no reply whatsoever so here I am. Do not recommend. Should have listened to the other recent reviews of how bad this place has gotten. Terrible.

Fresh and tasty fish and chips. Fresh grilled fish done right - went for the healthy choice and it was spot on. Chips were nicely seasoned with a good crunch, and there’s a solid selection to choose from. Best enjoyed as takeaway since seating can get busy, especially around peak beach hours.

Best calamari slice we've ever had. Melt-in-your-mouth grilled fish. Great to have the rice option instead of chips. Salads looked good. Take away and eat at the beach!
