Delicious platter worth way more than $99. Super fresh seafood, juicy oysters, crispy (real) potato chips with the skin, and sweet potatos chips nice and crispy too. Lots of fish, lovely prawns and definitely would feed a family of 5 plus a friend :)
We liked our food. The presentation was really beautiful. The fries tasted super fresh as well as the fish. I had the fragrant rice, which didn’t smell or taste any fragrant. It was kind of bland to me. However, I really recommend this restaurant.
Fishmongers Manly is a gourmet fish and chips shop in Manly where it is possible to dine in or order take out. The fish options come with one of four choices. I opted for the vegetable tempura, which was a generous portion. The barramundi was extremely fresh and seasoned to perfection. Excellent quality for the price. Highly recommend!!
My go to food place whenever I'm in Manly. Today I had the fish taco whish is fresh battered fish served on a bed of slaw topped with a gerkin salsa, slathered with a mayo. It was so full I couldn't close it. I had to turn the fish upside down so I didn't lose the salsa. Now, let's talk about their hand cut chips... the best chips you'll find outside of the UK. Real handsliced good quality potatoes deep fried till crisp.. no soggy hardly colored frozen ones. Buy the accompanying dipping sauce, my preference is garlic aioli. All washed down with a ginger beer from the local (and I mean local),4 pines distillery. Find Fishmongers down a back street, you will be delighted by the food & service. And in summer the shade respite.
Super good and tasty flathead fish. Returning there already 2 years in a row. Nice and chilled atmosphere and very tasty food.
