If you love seafood this is a must! The octopus is one of their best dishes, always good BUT I’m always on the lookout for any kind of seafood stew, anywhere and this dish is hard to find, trust me. Today we enjoyed the best and freshest seafood stew plus the chowder, oysters and octopus. We left absolutely satisfied and so happy for finding the elusive seafood stew.

Low key, casual, fish cafe where the decor and ambience are both pretty basic but the food and service are excellent. We shared entrees, and both were good, but the scallops were outstanding. I had the chowder for a main and it was also very good. There was perhaps a little too much corn in it but I am a purist. The flavours were subtle and not too strong for the main course serving size. My wife had the fish pie which she loved. I also tried it and it was very good. A generous serving size. Chocolate mousse was the winner for the deserts but the pannacotta was also very nice So overall the food was excellent in a casual dining atmosphere and it was open on a Monday night.

One of the best fish and chips in all of Sydney I would say. The fish is so fresh and carefully prepared. Even the truffle mash side was delicious! One star less only cos the service was a bit tardy, the waiter had to be reminded to take the order after I waited for 15 mins (he seemed free, just standing near the entrance)

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for a while now. It’s pretty good. My son really enjoys the flathead fish and chips. He prefers it crumbed and it comes out crunchy on a bed of chips. We did ask for the salad to be separate (teenagers). The NZ whole lemon sole was great value and lovely to eat. The John dory fillet was smooth and tasty. The ocean trout was prepared with a lovely crispy skin. The chips were nice and generously sized (the boy didn’t finish his serving!). Service was good - they were very polite and attentive. Great variety of fish available at reasonable prices. Will keep coming back. Happy days.
