Glebe Point Diner is a lovely surprise! A good amount to chose from with set priced menus. Starters were fabulous. A great choice of mains with appropriate sides that tasted delicious. The sides were of the same high standard as the mains. Dessert was delicious! A good drinks menu rounded out the options. Another pleasant surprise is that you could be heard in a conversation! No loud echoing, no 'mood music' just good old tales and laughter even when the place filled up. In order not to be disappointed, I'd recommend booking. We went on a Tuesday night and it was full.

All of our food choices were amazing. Started with oysters. Shared 4 entrees between us. Yummy mains. Delicious wine. Attentive service. Well priced. Overall one of our best dinners out with friends in ages.

I wanted a good solo dinner after my Pilates class, so I checked Google and came across this place with great reviews. I didn’t have a booking and just walked in, hoping for a seat. The lady at the front was very accommodating - she gave me a table instead of seating me at the bar, but let me know I had it for 1.5 hours. That was usually enough time for a three-course meal, so I happily agreed. I ordered the Black Opal steak tartare with black garlic, confit yolk, and shiso on sesame rice crackers to start; the Black Onyx grain-fed sirloin (MBS +5) with salsa verde and parmesan fries as main; a side of seasonal greens with EVOO and lemon; and the Burnt Alaska with gingerbread ice cream for dessert. Oh my goodness, every single dish was so fresh, so flavourful, and so well balanced. I’m normally not a huge tartare person, but this one, especially eaten with the sesame rice crackers, was fantastic. The medium-rare sirloin was delicious, but the real star was the salsa verde - such a bright, perfectly blended mix of flavours. The parmesan fries were great, and the seasonal greens (snow peas, a broccoli-like veg I couldn’t quite identify, and a type of lemons but more like veg as well) were incredibly fresh and tasty. The lemons somehow weren’t sour. I was genuinely impressed. The Burnt Alaska with gingerbread ice cream was unique and absolutely delicious, but quite sweet, so I only let myself enjoy about half, but it was such a lovely finish to the meal. Overall, I left feeling so satisfied and happy with this restaurant. The staff were warm, friendly, and made the whole experience even better.

Fantastic Christmas Lunch, thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd year in a row. We always have a great meal and look forward to our next visit - at any time throughout the year.

Beautiful food and absolutely worth a visit! We had the barramundi and the beef ragù, followed by the meringue dessert and the chocolate mousse. Every dish was a 5/5. The service was excellent too, super friendly, and overall a fantastic dining experience.
