Great food and generous portions. We ordered the mixed platter and the shawarma. The shawarma was absolutely amazing, and the platter was also very good. If you’re used to Pakistani or Indian food, just keep in mind that the dishes are not very spicy. The meat has its own natural flavor, which was honestly great, though some people may not be used to it. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.
I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats and the food arrived in poor condition. The meat was clearly undercooked (raw in parts) and not safe to eat, which is a serious health concern. The packaging was fine, but the food quality was very disappointing. I had to throw the entire meal away. I hope the restaurant improves their cooking standards and ensures food is properly cooked before serving customers.
I recently bought food from here and unfortunately had a concerning experience. While eating, I found a piece of plastic wrap inside my meal. This was quite disappointing and a bit unsafe. I’m not trying to be rude, but I hope the staff can be more careful with food preparation and quality control in the future. It’s important to ensure customers receive safe and clean food. I appreciate your attention to this and hope it improves.
Had a great dinner there. Take away one whole chicken with garlic sauce, pickles and bread $20 on the board. Only to received chicken and garlic sauce. Ask the counter I'm missing pickles and bread. The lady said "takeaway no bread and pickles. Eat in only to have bread and pickles." Not a big deal but be aware. Not going back anymore. Abit disappointed.
I ordered the Arabic shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was fresh, juicy, and full of flavour, and everything was made perfectly. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast. Definitely one of the best shawarmas I’ve had. Highly recommend Yanni’s Al Basha!
