Very lovely Indian place I found recently. Excellent staff service, chilled atmosphere, curries we ordered were slightly salty but overall great experience. Fresh naan, delicious Dosa, some entrees, they were good.

Great South Indian restaurant in Crows Nest. The star has always been the dosa. Crisp savoury ‘crepe’ served with delicious chutney. We ordered the banquet and were not disappointed. Attentive staff, great food. And BYO - bottle store 2 -3 doors down the road! Highly recommend.

Loved the experience here. Service is great. Attentive and quick. They make it easy and it comes with a smile. Food was great too. Entree a big thumbs up to the dosa and spinach chat. The onion bhaji and chicken tikka was reheated - tastes great but not freshly made at the time of onion bhaji was very oily. The mains were exceptional. Goat curry and chettinad were fabulous. Will come again

We've been coming to Malabar for well over 20 years (est 1992), and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is so popular it's best to book. Always great service and a fabulous atmosphere. Famous for its Dosa.

It's easy to see why Malabar has endured for decades as a north shore favourite. The food is delicious and the service is 'old school'; i.e. professionals who get the brief and consistently deliver. 100% will be back, and soon.
