We wanted to have some food in our stomachs after doing the Marrickville beer bars, & this restaurant was conveniently located. The service was welcoming & efficient. We ordered 2 tapas - potato bravas & sizzling garlic prawns. Both were tasty, but expensive for the portions. Four prawns for $25 is a bit much. Even though I have eaten many paellas, this paella with Balmain Bugs was something I had never had before. It was nicely cooked with enough crunch in the rice, but it was a bit thin on the amount of rice. For $75 it could have had a bit more content. The tempranillo wine was very smooth, but for $80 a bottle, it should be. We enjoyed the meal, but it was a bit pricey.

I have been craving paella and this really hit the spot. The seafood was so fresh. And the paella was rich with the flavour of the sea, with generous fillings of meat. We ordered empanadas as a starter and they were flavour bombs! The portions are very generous. The atmosphere is also lively!

We had a nice experience at Oé Oé Paellas & Tapas. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, and the service was friendly. The food was good and made with quality ingredients. That said, we did find the prices quite high for the portions and overall experience. Still a pleasant place, just something to keep in mind if you’re budget-conscious.

Had a wonderful experience at Oé Oé Paellas & Tapas in Marrickville. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with a real Spanish feel that made the night special. The tapas were full of flavour, especially the croquettes and patatas bravas, and the paella was rich and authentic. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. A fantastic spot to enjoy good food, sangria, and a relaxed evening with friends or family. Definitely worth visiting if you love Spanish cuisine! We definitely visiting again real soon

You can tell the care and passion behind this place from the moment you walk in. The attention to detail, the warm service, and the quality of the food make it a standout experience. The paella is genuinely one of the best we’ve had in Sydney, and honestly, maybe even Australia. Whether you’re coming for the paella or the tapas, this is a spot that’s absolutely worth the visit. If you’re craving authentic Spanish food, this should be at the top of your list.
