First time visitor for lunch, all the staff greet you with a smile, they are polite & helpful. The view from the bistro where you can eat is nice, I had a nice serving of fish, chips & salad. Parking is ok.
Portion size are okay and the speed of the food coming out is acceptable especially considering the volume that comes out. Although the duck Spring Rolls were overcooked and had little to no duck in it. The Pizza base on my pizza was a low quality frozen base, somehow worse than Coles’ pre-made pizzas. Inside is dirty as well. Wouldn’t really recommend.
The food was tasty. The portion sizes were good. Price was reasonable. The eye fillet was cooked as requested. Venue wasn't very clean when we arrived. There were vegetables and chips spread on the floor around our table. Would have liked the area to be clean prior to us arriving at our booked time. Crumbs are understandable, but whole chips and vegetables could be swept up. They were strict on the seating time, with staff reminding us to order our meals quickly, and also reminding us to leave. After ordering, the food took around 45 minutes to arrive. People who ordered after us received their meals before us. There was plenty of parking. The parking area is shared with the Tradies club.
Food is top notch and there is generally lots of available parking. I have been there for lunch a few times in the last few years and has always been consistently good.
The food generally is of a high club/pub standard. Not today… Lunch today I chose a defatted rare scotch fillet steak. It was not defatted , not rare and I left more than half my steak. Chefs lift your game I’m not happy.
