We celebrated my birthday here, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was excellent, warm, attentive, and welcoming, making us all feel so well looked after. The food was great, beautifully presented and delicious, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, making it the perfect place for a special celebration. A special thank you to Cynthia, who went above and beyond to make our evening so memorable. Her kindness and professionalism truly made a difference. I highly recommend The Alcott for birthdays, special occasions, or simply a fantastic meal. We will definitely be back! 🌻

Edit - there is now not a single vegetarian option on the mains menu. What?? So sadly and weirdly out of pace with the modern world. I enquired with the barman, but he seemed surprised and disinterested. Service has also taken a nose dive. 25 minutes to get some chips and wedges tonight - not even busy, and only delivered after making the effort to follow it up. I feel the writing is on the wall, and the future is not looking good - and sadly, they only have themselves to blame. Hands down the nicest place for lunch, dinner or drinks in Lane Cove. The food is excellent - the grilled eggplant with veggie mince is so good - and such a creative and different option compared to the standard pub style vegetarian options. The halloumi burger is also very tasty on the occasion that I can manage to choose something other than the eggplant. And I hear very good things about the non-veggie options from all of my non-veggie dining companions. It’s a lovely set up, with indoor and outdoor seating areas, nice and comfy furniture, and a happy ambiance. Always find the staff excellent. A great place to meet and spend time with others, enjoying great food and drinks. Good to know too - there’s a very reasonable happy hour weekdays before 6, so drop in early for pre-dinner drinks. Come in and support this great part of the Lane Cove community!

We set up our softplay and balloon backdrop at this venue, and the venue gave us plenty of space to bring everything together. Our client booked the Sorrento and Sirocco room for her bubs first birthday party. Parking was a bit tricky, but once inside, but the space of the venue is so good and spacious! The event manager we were liaising with, Mel - she was so, so very helpful and accommodating, which made the whole process smooth for set up and pack down - it wouldn't have been the same without her help so a really big thank you!! We cannot wait to be back for another set up next time 🥰

Great looking place, with a nice vibe that matched the delicious food. The menu is relatively limited so we managed to order most dishes on offer. We'll need to go back and get the ones we missed out on next time. Will eat again!
