Gage was nice to dine in. We had dinner with our 6 years kid. The food was great, not that busy for a weeknight dinner. The meal was delicious, specially the chips and the sauce were marvellous. The combination of food with such a reasonable price seems great for dinner. Would love to go again ❤️
I ordered pasta bolognese for the kids my daughter came up to me with hair or something looking like hair in her pasta. She was scared.
1st time here 16.7.22 for lunch We ordered: $16 rump w/chips & salad - this was great for the price & one of the best rump I've had compared to other pubs Chilli pan linguine - Prawns & pasta was cooked well & there was a spicy kick, but the sauce tasted like wine not cooked thru & the cheese was OTT & not nice/ wasn't parmesan $7 kids menu linguine bolognese - great value & the pasta was cooked well but the meat/sauce was not nice that our bb didn't want to finish it...& he usually loves eating spaghetti bolognese Free drink included with our meal but the lemonade was flat The photo of the dining room on Google is incorrect - small dining room upstairs even though it was just us Would've returned to eat their rump again & try their other steak, but because people smoke in the enclosed outside area upstairs, it puts me off because I'm pregnant & not an ideal environment for my 1yr bb either
One of the best pubs rump steak me and my partner have had. When we asked for medium rare it came out cooked perfectly. Was pleasantly surprised $16 with a soft drink you can’t beat it. Delicious delicious delicious glad we found this gem
Modern and nice place with excellent prices for good grilled food! Casual dining, not loud in the dining area, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get. Chef cooks food perfectly, don't need to order a rare to get a medium. Go in expecting slightly better than pub food quality steaks rather than a fancy steakhouse and you'll come out feeling incredibly satisfied! Have to edit this review as the service depends on who you get, as their service protocol stop the bartender from being able to help you which means you have to wait a while for the chef to come out. Additionally, they've removed pork options in favour of beef alternatives to cater to the auburn demographic and preference. In saying that, they're not halal certified anyway, and the reason we went there was for their pork options/additions to dishes in the first place, as my partner doesn't eat beef.
