Firstly the staff services were very nice and friendly. Recently went to The Meat & Wine Co in Barangaroo for a team lunch, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a venue that perfectly balances a premium dining atmosphere with efficient service, this is absolutely the spot. The vibe of the restaurant is incredibly sophisticated yet welcoming, making it ideal for professional team gatherings or special lunches. We opted for their Express Lunch Menu, which offers incredible value, especially given the prime waterfront location. The structure of the menu is highly flexible and convenient: it starts as a 2-course meal, but you have the option to add a 3rd course later if you still have room for dessert, which took the pressure off ordering everything upfront. To make it even better value, the menu also comes with a complimentary drink, which was a great touch to kick off our team lunch. As expected from this venue, the food quality was top-tier, and the service was paced perfectly so we didn't feel rushed but could still easily fit it into a standard lunch break. I highly recommend The Meat & Wine Co for anyone looking to host a seamless, delicious, and memorable lunch in Barangaroo. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our experience at The Meat & Wine Co Barangaroo. It was recommended to us as a great spot to try kangaroo, and while we managed to get a table without a booking, I would definitely recommend making a reservation as it is very popular. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When our kangaroo skewer arrived a bit cold—likely due to the strong AC—they quickly warmed it up for us. The meat was served with a great sauce and delicious fries. We also tried the barramundi, but that dish didn't work as well for us; the delicate fish was served with mussels and a prawn sauce that made the "sea taste" a bit too overwhelming, and the potatoes were quite hard. Despite the fish, we liked the atmosphere enough to return for our final dinner in Sydney. My husband had seen the ribs on our first visit and they looked amazing—ordering them was a real hit! They were delicious and the serving size was very generous. I ordered the truffle mac and cheese from the "sides and salads" section, but the portion was huge and I couldn't even finish it. The truffle taste was nice and strong. We also enjoyed the wine selection; we usually don't drink dry wines, but the ones we tried here were amazing. A highlight of the night was the service—our waiter asked if we were celebrating anything, and when we mentioned it was our last night in Australia, they surprised us with a cake! It was such a lovely gesture and a perfect way to end our trip.

Had a really good experience here. The food was delicious and the service was great as well. Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The Portuguese chicken definitely stood out! super flavourful and cooked really well. Would definitely come back!

Thank you so much for accommodating us even under my circumstances of my silly error of booking on the wrong week. This was very much appreciated as we had to organise babysitters to make this evening happen. Overall exceptional service by our waiter, and delicious food. Perfect way to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary.

We arrived for our booking for 6:15pm, was seated immediately and given set menus. When asked if we are not allowed to order off the Al Acarte menu they had no idea, we had to wait & about 4 seperate staff members had to come up to us and ask us who we are. They assumed we were using a voucher/promo when we weren’t. This was quite frustrating and unprofessional. The Monte Fillet was lovely, mushroom sauce was nice and chunky. Beef tartare was beautiful and flavoursome. Half rack of ribs was a generous portion. The chips are half cooked and no salt you have to rely on the sauce which you pay $6 for. $202 for 2 mains 2 drinks 1 entree. Also why ask for a tip, who does the tip go to? The restaurant that we already pay so much money for? Or to the many wait staff who came to our table confused. The 2 host ladies at the front door love to talk to each other and not pay any attention to their customers leaving.
