Exceptional dining experience. Celebrated my husbands birthday tonight and we loved it very much. Love the small details with the unique utensils. My favourite would have to be the broth served in the teapot with the lime on top to tie all the flavours together. Exquisite care is taken throughout the entirety of the session. Highly recommend!

Kisuke delivers a genuinely fabulous experience from start to finish. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh, and it really shows in every dish — clean, vibrant flavours with thoughtful and often surprising taste combinations that never feel overdone. What makes it even more special is the warm, personal touch from the lovely couple behind it. Their passion comes through not just in the food, but in the atmosphere they create — relaxed, welcoming, and quietly confident. A place that gets the balance right: refined without being pretentious, and memorable for all the right reasons. Definitely one to come back to.

Very intimate dining experience. Chef is clearly a master in his craft, shaping each nigiri with purposeful movement and scoring each sashimi meticulously. Highly recommend!

Hidden in a tiny laneway of Potts Point lies a little slice of Japan. This pint-sized 6 seater run by a husband and wife duo is the closest you’ll get to a traditional Japanese experience in Sydney. As with most omakase courses, the dishes rotate regularly depending on what’s in season but chef Morita san does have some signature ingredients which he will tweak with throughout the year. Monkfish liver is one unique item you will find in the Hassun while shabu shabu and soba noodles also make a regular appearance in his menu. The nigiri includes favourites like cuttlefish, mackerel, tuna, scampi, sea urchin, and sea eel with each piece presented at its best - If a fish was at its peak fresh, it was fresh. If a fish was at its peak with some aging, it was aged. Some chefs tend to compensate by overdoing the truffle and caviar but this is superfluous at Kisuke. This is the place to visit for your traditional omakase experience. Thank you, chef Morita san.
