Ocean Sushi is hands down the best sushi spot in Dee Why. Every time we order takeaway, it’s made fresh to order, and the portion sizes are very generous. The food is always super fresh, the staff are lovely, and it has easily become our regular go-to. Highly recommend trying the Ocean Roll and their miso soup.

Ocean Sushi at Dee Why Beach was fantastic. The sashimi platter was incredibly fresh and plentiful — beautifully cut pieces that really showcased the quality of the fish. The agedashi tofu was a standout, perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicate centre, sitting in the most delicious sweet broth. Even the edamame were spot on — nicely crisp and seasoned just right. The miso soup was comforting and fragrant, with fresh shallots adding a lovely lift to the broth. Our daughter Evelyn absolutely loved the grilled salmon sushi — it was a big hit and disappeared quickly. Great food, great flavours, and a relaxed beachside atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
friendly staff, got a generous amount of meat when I ordered a chicken katsu don but I didn’t expect that much of liquid/broth in the bowl so it’s a bit soggy but in general it tastes good, would like to try their sushi and their seafood dishes too
Omg what a feast!!!! A great little gem of sushi and Japanese food, fresh amazing flavours!! Love love the idea of the cream cheese in with the chicken in the sushi. Will be my local sushi place!!!!
