Honestly so disappointed. We ordered a tuna rice paper roll and it was completely inedible, it was so soggy and the amount of the tuna in it completely ruined it. We escalated this with staff and politely told them about the issue comparing it to the photo they had on their menu and they told us we had to pay and it was exactly like the picture. The way they blew us off and treated us was so embarrassing and what annoyed us most was how our concerns were handled no effort to fix it, no apology, just brushed off and told you have to pay for it. Money was not the issue here, we tried to explain our problem but the way it was handled was so upsetting. On top of that their rice was mushy, overcooked, and soggy the texture was awful and we couldn’t eat any of the sushi and we got up after we had ordered 3 plates with all of them being as bad as each other. We paid almost $40 for three plates and one drink, which is pretty shocking for the quality we got. It just felt like a total rip-off. Photos attached show exactly what we’re talking about. I urge people even if they want to swing past for a quick bite to seek food elsewhere. Not worth it at all unless you like mushy rice drenched in sauce. Won’t be coming back. Super disappointed.

Me and my girlfriend have been going from sushi train to sushi train, trying out all the different places as we love good Japanese food. This place was honestly the worst of the worst. The menu had barely any options to choose from, and what we did order was extremely disappointing. The rice was overcooked and mushy, which completely ruined the sushi. The rice paper rolls were nothing like the photos advertised online very misleading. Instead of looking fresh and balanced, they were mostly filled with tuna and lacked variety and flavour. When I raised my concerns directly with the chef, the response was completely unprofessional. They could not take any criticism, became defensive, and insisted I still had to pay despite the food being unacceptable. There was no attempt to listen, apologise, or resolve the issue. Poor food quality, misleading photos, and unprofessional behaviour. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely amazing sushi ! super fresh beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The staff are friendly and efficient and offering alternative options and tell us as family what is in each sushi and everything is always consistent Easily one of the best sushi spots around highly recommended. (The tuna rice paper rolls were the best rice paper rolls I had most people just fill them up with noodles from each bite I wanted more and more don’t listen to these other people recommend this place

Had a fantastic experience at Sushi Culture Gregory Hills! The food was fresh, tasty, and the Sushi Train was such a fun way to try a variety of dishes. A special shoutout to the young boy out the front who was incredibly helpful — he went out of his way to suggest alternative options, explain what was available, and regularly checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and finding what we wanted on the Sushi Train. His friendly service really made the experience even better. We felt well looked after and will definitely be back
