Very tender and tasty Taiwanese popcorn chicken ($19). The rice is chewy medium grain rice and comes with braised pork belly (lurou) on top which is nice. The dish also comes with half an egg, and garlicky stirfried cabbage. Good portion size. The combination beef noodles with brisket, tendon and tripe ($25) are decent but not memorable. Noodles are medium thickness, soup has a hint of heat to it.

We’ve been twice already and the food has always been yummy and authentic. The prices are very reasonable. A very cosy spot that always hits. Will be back!

Small Taiwanese restaurant in the heart of Chatswood offering a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The stir fried chicken rice and pork bao were flavoursome. There is limited seating, so groups of more than 4 may struggle to get seating. Nonetheless if you fancy something different to the standard food court fare, then this place is worth trying.

This Taiwanese restaurant is a great spot for a satisfying meal. The food is delicious, and I especially enjoyed the fried tofu dish served with pickled cabbage (I forgot the name, but it was really tasty!). The flavors were well-balanced and authentic. The service was excellent—staff were very nice, friendly, and attentive. The place was clean, and the food came out quickly, making for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, a great place for Taiwanese food with good flavors, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely come back!

This Taiwanese eatery is a good place to head to for a really decent meal. Located near to public transport; it is easily accessible by bus, train or metro. Some key highlights: - They have indoor and outdoor seating. - They have QR code to take orders but if you intend to pay by cash, orders must be placed at the counter - Order placed will be followed by them issuing a table number. Patrons can choose to sit at any available table with their orders delivered to them. - They accept both cash & card. 5% discount available with cash payments. - My two favourite order items are the fried chicken Maryland with rice and the beef with noodles. - There is complementary self service water available. - Staff are friendly and helpful - The staff are also rather quick to clear the tables after the patrons have finished their food. I do recommend anyone who would like a solid Taiwanese meal to have it at Bao Dao.
