Sticky fried rice was interesting ! Cold chicken roll with shaoxing wine was refreshing, mushroom clay pot was solid. Not too salty and homely cooking :)

To my fellow Taiwanese in Sydney, finally we have a proper restaurant to fix our homesickness together. I haven't seen these names on a menu for so long, and the dishes definitely live up to those nostalgic memories. Most Taiwanese restaurants here in Greater Sydney serve street food-inspired menus. At the time of writing, I'm not aware of other places providing such a semi-formal environment.

The cod was delicious and very tender, and the loofah was also cooked nicely. Unfortunately, the clams had a very strong fishy taste. The sesame oil chicken was quite bland, and I actually enjoyed the vegetables in the dish more than the chicken itself. The Hakka stir-fry was pretty average—the pork and squid were both quite dry and tough. The fried rice was also nothing special. The loofah balls were decent though; they weren’t greasy and felt relatively light and healthy, with purple sweet potato filling inside. Service was very good and everyone was friendly. The owner and the waitstaff aren’t Taiwanese, but I was told that the chefs are Taiwanese. Prices are very reasonable, especially with the 5% discount for paying in cash. Overall, some dishes were definitely better than others, but considering the price and good service, it was still a decent experience.

The Mog Champ sends his regards. Visited for dinner recently and the place gets busy quite early, they also have a small area next door for overflow customers. The Taiwanese food was great and would love to come back to try some other dishes. Thanks for the food team! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ

Delicious taiwanese food, big portions and decent prices. 3 cup chicken was perfectly cooked and Hakka fried rice was also well seasoned. Fresh ingredients used and it all came out pretty quickly too. Should come back with more people so can try more dishes!
