I had a crispy chicken burger which also included fries for a total price of 18 dollars (which is a really fair and great price for how much food you're getting and the quality of it). I asked the owner (who's a really nice person) if the chipotle mayo was spicy at all and he gave me fries to try along side the mayo and a truffle mayo that I could swap out the chipotle mayo for (as someone who sucks at handling spice, I really appreciate this type of service!). The truffle mayo really hit the spot for me, the burger was great. I just wished that the chicken was a little bit thicker as I felt it was a bit heavy on the batter. The fries were very nicely seasoned with a tangy taste and very fresh. Overall for what you get here I think the price is great and the quality of the food is very strong. I definitely see myself visiting here more often in the coming weeks as it has been a few years since the last time I ate from Charred Affair. Very happy to see that the quality is as good as I remember it being from a few years ago.
Very friendly service and fantastic food. The gourmet burger that I bought was cooked perfectly with a fantastic wagyu beef patty and good combination of ingredients. Definitely one of the best, if not the best burger I've had to date. In addition I also ordered a nutella cookie which was also incredibly delicious. It's really nice to see a small business offering fantastic service and high quality food!
Amazing burgers at Charred Affair. The meat has an awesome smoky, chargrilled flavour that really stands out, and everything tastes fresh, juicy and well made. You can tell they care about flavour and quality, not just putting together another standard burger. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Hornsby and love proper smoky burgers.
One of the best burger places I’ve tried. The burgers were juicy, well-seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly and services were great - highly recommend! I will be definitely coming back!
Amazing burgers and chips. The gourmet burger was delicious with a generous portion, good amount of sauce, and fresh ingredients. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming which made our experience even better. Their homemade chocolate chip cookies are also some of the best I have tried. Will definitely be back again soon!
