Had to visit the original location while in Sydney and it absolutely lived up to expectations. Tried the famous Tiger Pie combo and it was classic comfort food in the best way possible. Sitting along the waterfront eating one of Sydney’s iconic pies made this feel like a true local experience and not just another tourist stop.

Interesting location but probably the worst pie I’ve ever had. Pastry was too doughy; mashed potato had no seasoning or creaminess; peas were tasteless dry mush; gravy tasted like it came from a freeze dried packet. The whole thing tasted like it was reconstituted. The meat was OK, but no better than an Aldi pie.

Ok this is a big one! Harry's , it once was the utmost highest in standard for hotdogs in australia. With an awesome back story , google harrys cafe de wheel history. Mushy peas, yes , on a hotdog! I remember having these as a kid and loving them. Now to the present , same feel , same vibe , navy ships in the background , pictures of famous people who have attended , and ypull be surprised !!! BUT something is off. ... new owners. Its now german owned, and the taste isnt the same ! The rolls , somewhat different. Dont get me wrong still good , just not as it was. And i know my harrys , i drive from brisbane to sydney for them. So still good , an 7.5 out of ten. Not the once 10 out of ten. Staff super friendly. I wanted a really cold drink , he provided a cup of ice. Its the small things. Still recommended , and the vibe with the ships is awesome

Amazing food. Great variety and very tasty. Especially like the range of milkshakes they have. The pie quality was good and I also had the pulled pork roll which was good. Recommend if you are in the area or even through uber eats.

Jan 2026 Steak and mushroom pies are decent but not spectacular. Would have preferred the meat to be chunkier sizes. It felt more like a mince pie rather than a steak pie. What a view though ... Chomping on your pies with a view of 3 Navy shops. Tip - be wary of the seagulls and pigeons. They give you the evil eye. If you even take your eye off your food, they will get their grubby beaks on your food. Feast and be merry!
