Delicious, decently priced and easy to access - the best Vietnamese food in fairfield, its in a mini food court located inside forum. Everything is good my go to is the combination noodle soup.
I don't normally eat Vietnamese food because my mums are excellent cooks but I was out and I am unwell and wanted to eat something homey. I had the cơm đặt biệt which translates to special rice. It doesn't come with egg which it should because it's an important element of the whole special rice dish. The egg costed an extra $1. The dish totalled to $14. I was dining in but was given the food in a cardboard takeaway container. Well at least it's not plastic. The food itself was great. All the parts were spot on, though the pork piece was very small. It also does not come with the bowl of soup which I also think is important to have on the side. The flavours were homey, exactly how my mum would make it and I appreciated they added the spring onion oil topping on the meat and rice I was satisfied and felt recovered after eating the meal Overall really great and I am glad I gave it a go.
Always freshly cooked to order, crisp produce and a good portion for a fair price. My go-to is the bbq pork salad and taro pudding. My favourite Vietnamese place in the area!
1st time here on 3.1.21 - tried their crispy chicken noodle soup & surprised that both was nice - especially for food court standard. A lot better than other Vietnamese restaurants I've tried but Canley Heights is still my favourite, 2nd would be Tan Viet Cabra + Eastwood Fast & friendly service but didn't give full stars as our 2nd visit here, my partner ordered the combo noodle soup which is not something we'd ever order again - oily soup base & ingredients weren't fresh (except the pho noodles)
The food is absolutely delicious and great value for money. The staff are always friendly and provide consistently excellent service. Plus, there’s an amazing variety of yummy desserts. It’s one of my favourite eatery.
