The freshest and best tasting sushi 🍣 😋 in Balmain.. my son is long standing sushi lover and critic, we have travelled throughout Australia and Japan eating sushi and we find Sushi Hub Balmain to serve the best tasting and fresh sushi. One try and you will see what we are saying. There are always at least 2 sushi chef working and making fresh sushi, it is never left sitting for to long. There are 3 tables that seat 4 persons and a wall bench that seats up to 6 people. Take away or dine in, the store can be busy around the lunchtime rush, however, the staff are extremely efficient so wait times and minimal.
I love sushi hub but not this store. The quality was bad. Sushi rolls taste like sands.
Good to have a sushi store that is clear about what items are gluten free. It makes it much easier to choose a safe option without all the awkward, "is this gf? Is that gf?" In addition to this they have little fish of gluten free soy sauce 🤩🤩 this was the best surprise. I asked about rolls that don't contain avocado (I'm not a fan) and the server helpfully said that they can make a roll to order - I've never been offered such a thing before but it's a great idea. In the photo is teriyaki tofu and a smoked salmon.
I’ve been here frequently and usually find the food tastes fine. However, during my visit today, the store had a very unpleasant smell, similar to faeces, which made me concerned about hygiene and food safety. I hope this issue can be addressed promptly and that the shop improves, as I’ve generally had good experiences here before.
This was a great experience eating there. They have a great variety of foods. I normally buy lunch there. You can get sushi rolls, boxes of mini rolls and even udon! By the way, if you want something that is not on display, just ask them and they will make the fresh & new batch for you. It is very nice!
