Best take away shop in Sydney probably nsw absolutely love this place food is always fresh and amazing I get excited when I get to eat here I don’t live local but come here every chance I get
As takeaway shops go, this place is pretty good. I tried their fry ups, but haven't tried their seafood yet. I'm happy to report, the oil is changed often, I can tell by the taste of the potato scallops/cakes. So, needless to say, I love their potato scallops. It's actually my favourite. Ordered their 'with the lot' hamburger. Their burger was good: juicy and big. I'll try something else next time. Service was friendly and fast, although if it's during rush hours (lunch/early evening dinner), there will be a lot of customers, could be a wait, just be sure to check in with the staff if they haven't called your order after 15 minutes. Definitely the place I would head to if I just feel like hot chips, potato scallops, and burgers. Seafood is next for me.
The food is consistently acceptable in quality, relatively affordable, and the staff are friendly. Last time I was there ordering there was another man in the store who had some kind of a mental or drug impairment who was yelling a lot and being disruptive and the staff kept their cool and still treated him nicely with respect and patience. I was really impressed with the way they run their business even when under pressure.
Food is great- EXTREME lack of urgency; Service is always extremely slow as the lady “cooking” the food always seems to be lost & confused about what she is meant to cook. We also always get the wrong order. Don’t come here if you want your food ready under 15 mins. We usually wait minimum 30mins until we get our order of potatoes & chips. The only person that seems to know what they are doing, is the younger blond girl. Please hire people that enjoy what they do, not slow down the business & the service.
The best old fashion takeaway in the area. Their food is top notch and their scallops are hot and greasey just like when you were a kid. Highly recommend them 👌
