Found this small Thai restaurant in Haymarket serving affordable Thai food with generous portions. 🇹🇭🍜 The restaurant is small and simple, and the atmosphere feels like a local Thai street food spot. 📋 We tried: 🦀 Pad Thai Soft-Shell Crab – $16 The soft-shell crab was crispy, the noodles were tasty, and the portion size was generous. 🐖 Spicy Fried Rice Crispy Pork – $18 The crispy pork was crunchy and full of flavour. The fried rice was well seasoned, and the serving size was generous. 💰 The prices are very affordable, especially considering the location in the city. 💵 Pay with cash to receive a 5% discount on your bill.
One of our favorite go-to spots in Sydney! We absolutely love their soft-shell crab noodles. The service is excellent, and the tables are always nice and clean. The restaurant can get quite crowded, so it is best to plan your visit in advance. Highly recommended if you are looking for Asian food!
Found this hidden gem during our stroll along Thai street food and market. We ordered a 3 main dishes and an entrée. Foods were very tasty and lovely. Cooked by uncles and aunties in the kitchen. We ordered Boat Noodle Soup, Crab Fried Rice and Soft-shell Crab Noodle. Boat Noodle Soup was served in an authentic way, the soup was packed with flavours and umami. It reminded me of the time I travelled to Thailand. However, portion was a touch small if you are a big eater. We also found it a little bit sweeter and would require a bit of adding of seasonings to balance the flavour. Dish was reasonably priced though. Both Soft-shell Noodle and Crab Fried Rice were pretty tasty. Portion was pretty good for their prices. We found the crab meats in the fried rice was a bit fishy as understanding that it would be difficult to source fresh crabmeats here. Still very enjoyable. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Environment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Will definitely come back for more dishes next time and will definitely recommend everyone to come try their meals. 😊😊
A great spot for affordable and tasty Thai food. Really good value for money, especially in the CBD. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something budget-friendly but still delicious.
I actually already wrote a review on this restaurant but somehow stupid Google employees or Google algorithms removed my review. So I actually only ordered few things but since I tried some new dishes after they took my review down so I can put more reviews. Their fish stir fry curry is really good, sweet and spicy and strong curry flavour (probably store bought). Usually order this during Lent (no meat till Easter). Boat noodle also taste great but it’s not a food with heavy taste, pretty light and quite cheap in this area. Mixed BBQ with rice is a bit disappointing, pork belly’s skin is so tough and the sausage smells weird, also the sauce is sweet not savoury like typical hong kong, singaporean, or indo-chinese version
