Had a really nice dinner at Eat Thai. The food was authentic and full of flavour, especially the balance of sweet, sour and spicy that Thai food is known for. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was friendly and attentive. We also tried one of their mocktails which paired really well with the dishes. Overall a great spot for Thai food and I would definitely come back again.
Simply the best Thai in Paddington. I used to visit this place all the time when I was a local, and it never gets old. Authentic flavors, generous portions, and lovely service. A must-visit spot!
A group of four of us went here for an early dinner. The venue is spacious with indoors and outdoors. The tequila and aperol spritz cocktail was delicious. Portions & the food was very good. Staff are lovely.
Look at the replies, everyone who's dissatisfied is a 'disgruntled uber driver'!? STOP your derogatory hominem attacks with occupational shaming and improve... Terrible Thai food, ordered basil fried noodles with beef takeaway, came out extremely small portion with absolutely no basil, meat smelled unfresh and crazily spicy while I ordered mild. Service was terrible, the short hair lady was just argumentative towards everything I said, meat tasted different because they used veal not beef, too spicy because I couldn't tolerate chili, no basil because that's how they make it. Disappointing and far below average... Very expensive for the food you get, wonder why it's not closed down.
Located in a double storey Victorian heritage terrace in the heart of five ways Paddington. Lovely atmosphere with unique decor throughout the restaurant, especially in the ladies room, they use a massive wok for the wash basin! š The homemade Fish Cakes were delicious. The thick patties were soft, juicy & moist and packed with flavours. š Other dishes which worth mentioning were Prawn Betel Leaves, Crispy Fillet Barramundi Mango Salad and Midnight Magic. š For the rest of the dishes, they were below average. š¬ Moo Ping the grilled pork skewers were tender but lack of flavour. They were more boiled than grilled. š Wagyu beef in Crying Tiger was tough and dry, totally overcooked. š The nam jim jeaw dipping sauce for both grilled meat dishes could be more bold and punchy. š Tom Yum Soup was a total letdown. I appreciated the generous amount of large prawns in it but the soup was watery & bland. If it was my first time tasting Tom Yum Soup, Iād be disappointed. š«¢ āļøāļøāļø for the food and extra āļø for the service and ambience
