Absolutely loved the food at Green Peppercorn Restaurant inside Fairfield Hotel! Such a great mix of pub comfort food with authentic Asian-inspired flavours and a real Thai/Laos vibe. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented and packed with fresh ingredients. The mango salad fried fish was perfectly crispy with a refreshing balance of sweet, tangy and spicy flavours. The Massaman beef curry was rich, tender and incredibly comforting with deep aromatic spices. The green chilli jam mussels were an absolute standout — fresh, juicy and coated in a deliciously addictive sauce. To finish it all off, the caramel fried ice cream was the perfect dessert with its crispy coating and creamy centre. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and a great vibe throughout the venue. Perfect spot for family dinners, catch ups with friends or a relaxing night out. Definitely one of Fairfield’s hidden gems — easy 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Green Peppercorn in Fairfield serves excellent Thai food with rich flavours and beautifully presented dishes. The atmosphere is quiet, warm, and enhanced by tasteful Thai decor. Staff are friendly but quite young, and service can feel uncertain at times—they’d benefit from more training to improve attentiveness and menu knowledge. But otherwise, our Pad Kee Mao, soft shell crab, fried rice and salad were all great !
Green Peppercorn is one of my favourite restaurants in Fairfield. The food is always full of flavour, the portions are generous, and the quality has been consistent every time I’ve visited. The atmosphere is relaxed and great for family dinners or catching up with friends. Definitely a place I’d recommend and keep coming back here
The food was good. There were plenty of staff here, so the service was always prompt and on time. I’m giving it 4 stars because I much prefer dining in rather than taking away. When ordering take away, some of the side dishes didn’t include vegetables. I also felt that the portions are larger when eating in compared to take away.
This restaurant is an absolute delight! From start to finish, our meal was fantastic. The food is the clear star here. The flavors are vibrant and the textures are perfectly executed, making every bite absolutely delicious. We ordered a feast to share between three people, and everything impressed. The Pad Thai was a standout, with that classic sweet, tangy, and savory balance, and the cashew stir-fry was equally yummy, packed with freshness and crunch. We topped off the meal with their fried ice cream, which was the perfect sweet and crispy finale. Beyond the amazing food, the service was both friendly and fast, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Despite ordering so many dishes, the final price was still very reasonable and even better than we expected, offering great value for the quality and quantity. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious, flavorful food in a welcoming atmosphere.
