Best of all. Worth every buck and super tasty dishes. Just dont go on the weekends as they're too busy and the food might not taste the same.
The food here was fairly average and didn’t really feel worth the price. We ordered the sausages, crispy chilli basil chicken, and stir-fried crispy pork. The sausages had weird taste, the basil chicken was very oily and difficult to finish, and while the crispy pork was probably the best dish we ordered, it was still quite average overall. The main issue for us was the outdoor seating experience. People were smoking near the entrance throughout our meal, which made it quite uncomfortable and caused me to keep coughing while eating. We spoke to the staff and were told it was a public space and there was nothing they could do. But if you can’t provide a comfortable dining environment for customers in that area, then there shouldn’t be tables placed there in the first place.
We had a wonderful dinner at this spot on Lord Street. The food was consistently fresh, vibrant, and packed with authentic flavor. Every dish we ordered was presented beautifully. I particularly loved the papaya salad, which was topped with a generous amount of crushed peanuts and served with fresh cabbage on the side. Everything tasted great. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu soon.
Today I had the chance to try authentic Thai–Isaan food, and it was a truly satisfying experience. The dishes came in generous portions, perfect for sharing with friends or family. Dishes we tried: -Papaya Salad (Som Tum) – A perfect balance of spicy, sour, salty, and sweet. The shredded papaya was fresh and crunchy, topped with roasted peanuts for extra flavor. -Isaan Sausage – Grilled to perfection, crispy skin on the outside with a juicy, flavorful filling infused with herbs and spices. Best enjoyed with the spicy dipping sauce. -dried Beef (Neua Dad Deaw) – Tender and savory, with a slightly sweet and salty taste. Nicely fried without being too dry. -Grilled Ox tongue with Jaew Sauce – Smoky and tender pork slices served with a spicy, tangy dipping sauce that elevated the flavor. -Crispy Rice Salad (Yum Khao Tod) – The highlight of the meal. Crispy rice mixed with herbs, onions, and lime juice. Refreshing, flavorful, and a great balance to the grilled meats. Restaurant Atmosphere: The place is decorated with bamboo and wood, giving it a cozy and warm vibe. It feels casual yet welcoming, ideal for group dining. Overall: Delicious and authentic Thai flavors with fresh ingredients and bold seasoning. The menu offers a great variety, from spicy salads to grilled and fried dishes. Excellent value for money and highly recommended for anyone craving real Thai–Isaan cuisine.
Casual dining. Amazing service. Tasty meals. Recently decided to give this place a try after years of driving pass. Only regret is why we didn't try it sooner. Staff is super friendly and honest. Very homey vibes. They also have lunch specials (11am-2:30pm). Only thing I'd say is the ox tongue was a bit on the dryer side but besides that all the other dishes were delicious. Definitely get in on the fried ice cream as well, very generous portion. Awesome local hidden gem. Great for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.
